Emissions policy.

What we install, what we decline, why, and the file we keep. One page, in plain language.

The policy

Three paragraphs.

What we install. Street cars get catted, high-flow parts and emissions-intact calibrations: high-flow catted downpipes, intakes, intercoolers, cat-backs, fueling and turbos. That is the whole catalog.

What we decline, and why. We do not install catless downpipes, and we do not flash cat-delete or O2-delete calibrations, on street-registered cars, even when the customer brings the part. Tennessee stopped emissions testing in 2022, but the federal Clean Air Act tampering rule applies in every state and Tennessee rule 1200-3-36 still prohibits installing bypass parts. "Race only" waivers do not protect an installer.

The file we keep. For every part we install we keep the EPA "reasonable basis" file: the CARB EO number where one exists, and the manufacturer's emissions statement where it does not. Every car's stock ECU read stays on the shop drive, and every tune starts with a signed disclosure.
